On behalf of DB3 Architecture we would like to congratulate you on having been selected to put forward your proposals & bid to Government as part of the £3.6bn investment into the Towns Fund.

Under the Freedom of Information Act, we would be grateful if you could provide us with some details regarding this so as to ascertain if we can be of help:-

1. The name of the person/people who has/have been nominated to develop this Towns business plan.
2. An outline of your intentions regarding utilisation of awarded grant money.
3. If there is an opportunity for you to involve the skills & experience of an architectural company to support you in this process?

Our Response:

Under the Freedom of Information Act, we would be grateful if you
could provide us with some details regarding this so as to ascertain
if we can be of help:- 

 

1.      The name of the person/people who has/have been nominated to
develop this Towns business plan. 

 

The initial bid has been prepared by Council Officer, Helena
Hansen-Fure, supported by interim contractors Dave Anderson and
Noelle McManus and has drawn upon work undertaken by a range of
professional service firms including Aecom, LDA Design, 3D Reid, Mace
and Skanska. 

 

2.      An outline of your intentions regarding utilisation of
awarded grant money. 

 

The Council expects to receive an initial response to its submitted
Towns Fund Investment Plan end of October.   If you have any queries

3.      If there is an opportunity for you to involve the skills &
experience of an architectural company to support you in this
process? 

 

Any further funds released by the Government will be used to develop
detailed business cases for the individual projects that receive
support.   This is likely to include detailed design and cost
appraisal work on specific projects.  Such work will be subject to
competitive tendering directly or through framework contracts.
