Title of request: Government Investment - Towns Fund

Dear Mr Nath Darnton,

Freedom of Information Act 2000

Your request for information has now been considered and the information
requested is below;

1.            The name of the person/people who has/have been nominated to
develop this Towns business plan.

                From an MKC perspective:

Tracey Aldworth, MKC Deputy Chief Executive [Lead]

Paul Hammond, Area Manager MK Land &
Tariff

                                Martyn Smith, Infrastructure Coordination
Programme and Broadband Manager

More broadly, the MK: Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town
Deal Board is tasked with overseeing production of the MK: Bletchley &
Fenny Stratford Town Investment Plan.

2.            An outline of your intentions regarding utilisation of
awarded grant money.

Our intentions regarding utilisation of potential grant
monies have yet to be determined.  The Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town
Investment Plan will detail our investment priorities.  However, the Town
Investment Plan has not been produced yet and is not scheduled to be
submitted to MHCLG until the end of October.

3.            If there is an opportunity for you to involve the skills &
experience of an architectural company to support you in this process?

Working towards submission of our Town Investment Plan at the end of
October, we will be drawing on the expertise of a consortium of specialist
experts and advisers, as appointed by Government [MHCLG], to help us
develop our proposals, Town Investment Plan and, if successful with that
submission, our subsequent business case for the Towns Fund.  This
consortium is called the Towns Fund Delivery Partner.  At this point in
time, we do not anticipate requiring the skills and experience of an
architectural company to support us in the Town Investment Plan process.

If you have a complaint about the handling of your request then you may
request an internal review within the next 40 working days which will be
considered as part of Stage 2 of the Council’s complaints procedure.
