Golf resort at Hoylake - Expenditure to date
Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
I shall be grateful if we may see the invoices showing detail, date and amount only for the works carried out on behalf on WMBC for the proposed golf resort at Hoylake. I do not want to see the names of companies employed and / or contracted.
May we be shown, please, the total sums spent and balances remaining, both broken down to show categories of expenditure, of the monies so far authorised by Cabinet / Council.
Yours faithfully,
John H Hutchinson

Dear InfoMgr, FinDMT,
Thank you for that information.
However, I did originally ask for detail, date and amount for the works carried out on behalf of WMBC for the proposed golf resort at Hoylake and that we may we be shown the total sums spent and balances remaining, both broken down to show categories of expenditure, of the monies so far authorised by Cabinet / Council.
The total allocated, I believe, to be around £900,000. and so there is a great deal missing and not much to show for 16 years work at Council.
I shall be grateful to receive a full answer to my request for information.
Yours sincerely,
John H Hutchinson
Dear Mr Hutchinson
We write further to your email of 16 November 2018.
Whilst the text of your original request is acknowledged, the Council did
seek clarification from you on 14 November 2018 which resulted in the
following refined request;
“I am seeking to learn what Council has spent with regards to the proposed
golf resort at Hoylake on Consultancy Surveys - land and biological Roads
Infrastructure”.
Based upon your response, the answer given was specifically for works in
relation to the proposed new road infrastructure. There were no other
costs associated with works in relation to your “land” or “biological”
headings. The Council is therefore satisfied that it has fully answered
your question.
If you wish to make a new FOI request for additional information, please
provide clear and specific parameters and we will answer your request
under the legislative provisions. However, please note that we have
previously provided you with information relating to the approval for an
overall budget of £595,969 to take the project forward. The previous
budget was also disclosed - £237,000.
Yours sincerely
