Dear Ms A Baker

Freedom of Information Reference: 49064962FOI

Subject: Clarification required regarding your freedom of information
request

I am writing regarding your information request which was received on
26^th November 2018. In that request you asked Lincolnshire County Council
for information regarding GLPC Job Evaluation.

The service area requires further clarification from you to help identify
and accurately locate the requested information. Consequently, I will not
be able to take this matter any further without the extra information from
you. In particular it would be useful to know what you mean by 'Local
Conventions' document. LCC does not recognise a document of this name. LCC
does have a document named ' Local Scheme of Conditions of Service' which
refers to employment. Is this what you are seeking?

Your request is now on hold. The 20 working days allowed for us to respond
to the request will commence from the date we receive further
clarification from you. Unless we receive additional clarification from
you within 90 working days Lincolnshire County Council will consider this
matter closed.

Should you have any queries regarding this matter, please do not hesitate
to contact me.

Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Coulson,

Please advise the service area as follows:-

The GLPC Job Evaluation Scheme is based on 11 factors:-

1. Supervision/Management of People
2. Creativity and Innovation
3. Contacts and Relationships
4. Decisions – Discretion
5. Decisions – Consequences
6. Resources
7. Work Environment – Work Demands
8. Work Environment – Physical Demands
9. Work Environment – Working Conditions
10. Work Environment – Work Context
11. Knowledge and Skills

Each factor has a number of different levels within it.

Each level carries a set number of points which, when added together, gives a total score for a job.

This is the figure I am after.

Licensed users of the GLPC Scheme MAY decide to develop local conventions (interpretations) in order to support the application of the Scheme.

It sounds like LCC doesn’t have a ‘Local Conventions’ document (the ‘Local Scheme of Conditions of Service' document is not what I am seeking).

Yours sincerely,

Ms A Baker
