Dear Freedom of Information.
Thank you for the supplying of information made by my lawful request however I have decided not to do business with the council in this area due to moral and ethical objections in regards to the councils ''no unclean or uncleanly dressed persons may enter that would cause offence.''
I do not in anyway condone nor will I entertain any business that discriminates against people on the way they are dressed. This is a human rights principle of mine and I am very disappointed that the council have the audacity to disregard this principle.
The council is elected, payed and supported by ever UK citizen despite there dress code or how ''clean'' they are.
Therefor I have opted to give my time, business and money to the Roman Catholic Church next door to the hall who are more than delighted to accept anybody through there doors despite how they dress or there personal hygiene.
I very much suggest that the council change this policy immediately to comply with both equality and human rights. What happens if a transvestite or Muslim dressed in religious garb walks in and people are offended will you ask them to leave ? Do and I will prosecute.
That hall belongs not to the council but to all people and the council have no right in a democratic country to employ this Dickensian practice.
Regards.

This was merely a request for conditions under which council property could be made available for meetings, and as such, I am sure that any council would be happy to provide such information just for the asking. This is therefore not in the spirit of which the FOI act was designed for.
