GDF campaign website

Radioactive Waste Management Limited did not have the information requested.

Darryl J Lee (Mr.)

Dear Radioactive Waste Management Limited,

Having seen on the GDF campaign website that Government has asked RWM and RWM has agreed to: "plan for, and build, a GDF" .

Please disclose the Contract between Government and RWM by which RWM is to both "plan for" and also to "build" "A GDF" (I.e. one, singular GDF).

The point of highlighting that RWM have been asked by Government to build a (single) GDF is to highlight that this is against the Policy prescribed in the 2014 White Paper. (Where Government state that they merely "favour" a single GDF but do not rule-out multiple GDFs. Additionally, it appears that the Secretary of State has not Designated RWM as "the [sole] developer" [of all GDFs]

Yours faithfully,

Darryl J Lee (Mr.)

not hold the information which you have requested.  If you would like
further information about how the relationship between RWM, NDA and BEIS
operates we would be happy to discuss this with you to try and identify
the information you are seeking.

We hope that this meets with your approval but if you are dissatisfied
with the way in which RWM has dealt with your request, you have the right
