Funding to WRU, allocation for women's participation.
Dear Welsh Government,
In relation to the £17m Spectator Sports Survival Fund announces in January 2021, of which £13.5m was allocated to the WRU and its regional franchises, please can you provide information about how much of this funding was spent on women’s participation in rugby.
Please confirm what criteria were agreed in terms of how the WRU could spend it’s allocation of this funding.
Please provide details of any correspondence or meetings that the Welsh Government ministers and officials have had with the WRU with regard to the funding of and the promotion of equality in rugby, and in particular, in women’s participation.
