Funded apprenticeship starts

We're waiting for Kathryn Young to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Education and Skills Funding Agency (part reply to Lucy Palmer),

Thanks for your response, it is appreciated.

I understand you cannot provide employer details, but I am struggling to find the total number of apprenticeships that started in the teaching year 2016-17 and 2017-18 that qualified for funding.

If you aren't able to provide it from an employer data point of view, perhaps you are able to provide this from the provider side...? For example:

1. I would like to know the total number of Apprenticeships that started in the teaching year 2016-17 and 2017-18 that qualified for funding. This would be those who passed the 42 days of eligibility to be counted as a Start by the Education and Skills Funding Agency.

2. I would then like to know the breakdown of this for each provider based on their UKPRN Reference number

3. Where the apprentice start is linked to a subcontractor, I would like to know which subcontractor this is with their UKPRN Reference Number to confirm.

4. If this can be provided as a table in excel format which shows the column headings of:

UKPRN
Name of UKPRN Provider
Subcontractor UKPRN
Name of Subcontractor UKPRN Provider
Total Funded Starts

Many thanks,

Kathryn Young
