Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council Nid oedd gan y wybodaeth y gofynnwyd amdani.

Dear Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council'
I wish to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
In response to FOI_4857 request from Mark Bradley, made on 26th November 2016, you stated that the cost of maintenance on the building was £14,330.09. He particularly asked you to restrict your costings to the building being used as Pennington's Tea Rooms.

1) Will you please supply a complete breakdown of the cost of this maintenance work. To include the date of each and every job, who did it, how much it cost, the nature of the work and, most importantly, the exact location where the work was done.

2) In response to FOI_5047, made by Paula Williams, you quoted some of the repairs that had been done:
"Parkland Services undertook repairs to faulty lock in toilets." "The toilet not flushing." "Toilets overflowing."
Were these the public toilets, or ones in the Tea Room?

" Faulty light fittings (there were several queries)."
Were all these light fittings in the Tea Room?

3) ROLLER SHUTTER DOORS.
When were these installed, how much did they cost and who paid for them? Who supplied and fitted these doors? Was it a Council Preferred Contractor? What was the nature of the repairs carried out on several occasions by Excel Automatic Drills and why were they not covered by warranty? Were all these repairs to the roller shutter doors on the Tea Rooms and not on the adjacent door of the building that the Council used to store machinery?

4) PERIODIC SERVICING.
Was the servicing of the fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire fighting equipment and the legionella management in the Tea Rooms carried out at the same time as it was done for the large Council compound and the public toilets. Did these contractors present a separate invoice for the work done in the Tea Rooms? If they just presented an invoice for the whole area, on what basis did you apportion the cost against the Tea Rooms?

5) The building occupied by the Tea Rooms is only a small part of the building that also includes the public toilets and the Council machinery storage area. What was the total cost of the application of anti-vandal paint, signage and facia board repairs? How was this cost apportioned between the Tea Rooms, the public toilets and the Council machinery storage area?

6) I am sorry that my request is so long and detailed, but I want to give you the opportunity to supply all the information first time, so that I do not need to ask for a review, like Paula Williams had to do.

Yours faithfully,

FRED JONES
