Please also state the estimated income for FSM (as Pupil Premium income) for both months.

The request has been considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I can confirm that Hertfordshire County Council does hold some of the
information you have requested and can be found below:

 

1. Total numbers of pupils in Hertfordshire eligible for Free School Meals
(FSM) in October 2020, broken down by Primary and Secondary schools in the
county.  Please state if maintained school or academy.

 

2. Total number of pupils in Herts eligible for FSM in January 2021,
broken down by Primary and Secondary schools and if maintained or Academy.

 

 Below is a table showing the number of pupils who were eligible on our
free school meals system for Oct 2020 and Jan 2021. I have given a
breakdown as requested based on school attending (Primary or Secondary)
and included “other” too which is made up of other schools such as

o First
o Junior
o Middle
o Upper
o Education Support Centre
o University Technical College
o Special School

 

Furthermore I have included an academy figure of which is a subset of the
total figures (in bold).

In terms of the question

for both months” –  We do not hold this information in the way it is
requested.

 

To advise and assist;

Pupil premium is a grant calculated by the Education & Skills Funding
Agency (ESFA), in the previous financial year (20/21) the bases of the
distribution of funding was the number of Ever 6 pupils recorded in a
school as at January 2020.

Conditions of this funding does not include the provision of FSM.
