Freedom to Travel Un Hindered

House of Commons did not have the information requested.

Dear House of Commons,

Could you please confirm that the right of a subject to travel this land, to come and go, unhindered, as and when, and by any method they choose, without asking permission or license remains in full effect, as is custom and subject to the Laws of England.

If you cannot answer this under the FOI Act, please pass to whomever can answer this simple request.

Yours faithfully,

Norman

Dear FOICOMMONS,

It seems wierd that the house of commons, a place where all the laws are apperently made, does not know if the law exists.

Even more astounding is that you know of no other public body that may hold this information.

As the right to travel is a custom, tradition and protected by english constitutional law, Are you suggesting that the HoC only creates UK legislation and not laws of Enlgand? Just a thought.

Yours sincerely,

Norman: Hinks

Judging by the lack of an answer, I'd say they are unwilling to answer the question due to it's implication, in that if they reveal that we have free right to freely travel unhindered in and around the UK they will be revealing a fact that we are indeed opressed by the Government.

We can also take the lack of an answer to mean that we in fact DO have the right to travel freely in and around the UK.
