Freedom of the press and public to record public meetings

Under HM.Freedom Of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 I hear by give notice that I request from 'SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL' the following:
A) Any information or data which would or may confirm that the public and/or press are lawfully prohibited from filming or audio recording meetings held in the name of the 'ROYAL BURGH OF SELKIRK AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY COUNCIL'.

Dear Mr MacLean
Further to your request for information under the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 relating to the above I am now able to respond.
I can confirm that Scottish Borders Council does not hold any information
on the filming or audio recording at Selkirk Community Council. This is
left to the individual Community Councils to do as they see fit. The
Community Council is a separate legal entity to the Council. As we do not
hold this information it is therefore exempt under Section 17 of FOISA.
I hope you are happy with the information provided but have to advise that
you have a right to request a review within 40 working days of receipt of
this email. You should either e-mail [1][Scottish Borders Council request email] or write
to the Data Compliance Officer, Scottish Borders Council, Council HQ,
Newtown St.Boswells TD6 0SA.
If after the Council's FOI Advice Group have considered your review and
you are still not happy with the decision you then have a right to appeal
to the Office of the Scottish Information Commissioner, Kinburn Castle,
Doubledykes Road, St.Andrews, fife KY16 9DS.
