Freedom of Information Request about the toilet facilities in London

Roedd y cais yn rhannol lwyddiannus.

Dear Brent Borough Council,

I am writing for a formal request of information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA 2000), regarding the toilet facilities in the boroughs of London. Can you provide me details of the following questions?

1. How many public toilets are available in your council’s borough?
2. How much did your council spend in maintenance of the public toilets, cleaners etc, during the last financial year 2018/2019?
3. Does your council pay to Transport for London for the toilet services? If yes, how much was this last financial year 2018/2019?
4. How many toilets are out of service in your borough?
5. How many reports for antisocial behaviors have been made during last year, that happened on toilets, and how many toilets have been closed for antisocial behavior or vandalism?

Please give me an accurate answer, in a spreadsheet format, NOT TEXT or PDF, as I need to analyze the data’s.

Your faithfully,

Santino Pani

Dear Kelly Eaton,

Thank you for your response. There are two things on which I am not satisfied.
On Q4/5 you claims that you don't have a record of single incidents of ASB. But the question I asked is about the ammount of reports you receive, which I suppose you should have on records.
If you don't have it, can you explain me why ? this is a very important data that your coucil should analyze.
I know by sure that some of your toilets are costantly close, like for example that one in Barham park.

Further, you responed on a format I did not ask, and I requested instead to be in a spreadsheet, which should be a XLSX or CVS file, for the purpose to analyze the data, and compare it with the those of the other councils.

Yours sincerely,

Santino Pani

Dear Mr Pani

Thank you for your recent e-mail. Please find attached a spreadsheet
containing the information provided in my letter.

As explained; none of our toilets are permanently closed; they are only
closed temporarily whilst we carry our any repairs that may be needed due
to ASB or other reasons.

Kind regards

Kelly Eaton

Dear Neighbourhood Management,

There is at least one toilet almost always close, the one in Barham Park, and I have seen it often its entrance and electronic panel broken, so I find very strange that no reports of ASB have been made, or you don't keep a record summary of these reports, which would be useful to extimate the costs of damages.

Anyway, I will now close the case, as I got most of the information.

Thank you for your collabortaion,

Santino Pani
