Information Access, Home Office

Dear Mr Ingram

When I wrote to you on 28 May acknowledging receipt of your request for
information about requests for information, I said I would reply to you by
22 June.

We are extracting information from our FoI database, but as some
information has yet to be entered on it I am contacting Home Office units
to ask them to let me have that information.  Unfortunately this is
causing a delay and I now expect to be able to reply to you by Friday 3
July.

I am very sorry for this inconvenience but we do want to be able to send
you as much information as possible.

Yours sincerely

Steve Kirk

Dear Mr Ingram

Thank you for your e-mail of 20 July in which you said you had not
received a reply from the UK Border Agency (UKBA) in response to a request
you made for information about requests for information received.

I would like to explain that the request you sent to UKBA was passed to
the Home Office as UKBA is an executive agency of the Home Office and the
information you requested was held centrally.

The Information requested relating to UKBA was included in the reply I
sent you on 30 June under Home Office reference 11991.  Therefore, as far
as I am aware, there is no information outstanding on this request.
