Dear Metropolitan Police Service (MPS),

You are breaking the law. For a police service to break the law is a serious matter. You are required by law to respond promptly within a given time limit. That limit expired yesterday.

This request is for a very simple bit of information that your 101 system cannot provide.

If I don't receive the information by the end of next week, I will escalate to a police complaint via the IOPC.

Yours faithfully,

Nick Leaton
