Dear Cornwall Council,

Please can you help me with the following Freedom of Information Act request?

- In the financial year 2009/10, or if this information is not held in the most recent year prior to 2018/19 for which figures are available, how many School Crossing Patrol Officers (or persons with equivalent job titles) were employed by the authority?

- How many Full Time Equivalent hours did they work over the course of the year?

- How many School Crossing Patrol Officers (or persons with equivalent job titles) were employed by the authority in 2018/19?

- How many Full Time Equivalent hours did they work over the course of the year?

Your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

 

Thank you for your request which we received on 13.11.2019

 

We will be dealing with your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000 (“the Act”).

 

The scope of the search is for information relating to School Patrol Staff
as set out in your request letter.

 

As we believe we have fully understood the nature of your request, we are
commencing with your request today. The Council now has 20 working days
in which to supply the information requested so a response will be sent to
you on or before the twentieth working day of your request, which is
11.12.2019.

 

Under the Act, we may not process any request where the actual cost to the
authority in terms of staff hours comes to more than £450. If it becomes
apparent that your request will exceed this limit, we will again contact
you to discuss this point.

 

Cornwall Council is committed to open and transparent government and
provides information to members of the public about all aspects of the
authority. 

 

We deal with around 2000 FOI/EIR requests for information each year, with
the cost to the Council (not to the customer) ranging between £25 and £450
per request. You may be able to find the information by checking previous
