The Council has 158 devices installed across key buildings and satellite
offices.

What is the end date of the MPS contract with Konica Minolta?

The end date of the contract is 31 October 2016.

Are any other parties involved regarding the existing MPS contract? If so,
who?

Crown Commercial Service.

What is the total cost of the MPS contract with Konica Minolta, and the
total duration?

The estimated total cost is £1,200,000 (leasing and click costs) over five
years.

What Framework was used to for this contract?

Crown Commercial Service RM450.

What will the process be for the renewal of this contract?

Awaiting decision.

Who will be in charge of this procurement process?

Awaiting decision.

What Framework is likely to be used for this renewal? E.G. CCS RM1599.

The extended RM1599 framework is likely to be used.

     

Print Room:

Is there an on-site Print Room in the Council ?

Yes

How many Print Rooms are there in the Council?

One central reprographics department.

Is this managed in-house or outsourced?

The service is outsourced.

Who is the main supplier for the Print Room?

Amey Community Ltd is the sole supplier of managed print services.

What is the end date of the contract?

This contract is a Total Facilities Management service, ending September
2023 (plus optional 3-year extension).

How many staff are in the Print Room?

Six members of staff.

What is your approximate spend on this Print Room contract per year?

Print room management is part of a lump sum fixed price for the Total
Facilities Management contract.

What Framework was used to procure this contract?

The OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) process was followed to
procure the contract.

    

Transformation:

Does the Council have an Agile Worker policy?

We have a flexible working policy if this is what you are referring to.

Does the Council have a digital transformation or “move to online” policy?
Who is the key person responsible for this?

Who is responsible for transforming the way you communicate with your
customers?

No officer responsible for these roles.

Amey Community Ltd

Yes
