I hope you are well. Could you please treat my request for the information below as a formal request under the Freedom of Information Act 2002.

Please could you provide the following information on housing grants for disability adaptations:

REFERRALS AND GRANTS

1a. The total number of requests received for home adaptations for disability purposes in the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

1b. The total number of occupational therapist assessments carried out in response to requests for home adaptations for disability purposes in the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

1ci. The total number of occupational therapist assessments costed with 100% funding of mandatory home adaptations approved in the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

1cii. The total number of occupational therapist assessments costed with 80% funding of mandatory home adaptations approved in the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

1ciii. The total number of adaptation requests that led to occupational therapist assessments but were then rejected in the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

1d. The total number of grants for home adaptations for disability purposes completed in the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

2a. What was the average number of working days from first contact for someone to receive an initial assessment from an occupational therapist (or similar person) in each of the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

2b. What was the average number of working days between someone receiving an initial assessment from an occupational therapist (or similar person) and successful requests being costed by the housing department or relevant budget holder in each of the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

2c. What was the average number of working days between the costing of successful requests and the certified/completion date of installing the adaptations in each of the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

2d. What was the average number of working days between someone receiving an initial assessment from an occupational therapist (or similar person) and the adaptation request being rejected by the housing department or relevant budget holder in each of the financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

adaptations for disability purposes in the financial years 2018/19,
2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 until 30th October 2021?

 

2018/19 - £685,000

2019/20 - £474,000

2020/21 - £512,000

2021/21 - £160,000 to 31^st October.

Spend is £1,831,000 over these years to date
