This is an automated message:

Thank you for your FOI request.  The FOI team will formally acknowledge
receipt of your FOI request in due course.

However, in the meantime please consider the following.  Due to the
current pandemic, staff within the Public Health Agency are working at
full capacity to respond to and manage the situation day by day.  If you
have submitted an FOI request seeking COVID-19 related information, it is
those same staff who will have to be taken from this work and deployed in
order to provide you with a response.

Over the past few months, there has been an increasing amount of
information and statistics made available on the internet, updated on a
daily or weekly basis, in order to inform the public.  This information
can be found at:

* [1]DoH Daily Dashboard
* [2]NISRA dashboard
* [3]PHAWeekly COVID 19 & Monthly Epidemiological Bulletins

If your FOI request is COVID-19 related, please take a look at these
resources online – perhaps they will provide the information you are
seeking.  If they do, it would be extremely helpful to us if you would
withdraw your request to avoid us having to process your request further.
You can do this by sending a follow-up e-mail to the above email address
advising that you wish to withdraw your request.

If the web links above do not give you the information you are requesting,
or if your request is non-COVID-19 related, we will proceed with your
request as per our normal procedure.  Please note that given the current
COVID-19 situation PHA may not be able to respond to your request within
the 20 day timeframe laid down in the FOI Act 2000 however, please be
assured that a response will be sent as soon as we are in a position to do
so.

Thank you

Many thanks for your response to my freedom of information request.

I requested information for the calendar years 2019 and 2020; you state that the Public Health Agency works in financial years, so have provided some of the requested information for the year April 2019-March 2020.

As we have now reached the end of the financial year April 2020-March 2021, and as I am interested in obtaining the most up-to-date data, I would now like to request the same information for the most recent financial year.

In your response to my request, you provided data on campaign media spend with Google PPC. However, I also requested information on advertising and marketing spend with Facebook and Twitter. If possible, please also provide this information in your response to my updated request.

For clarity, I am copying my updated request in full below. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request, and I look forward to hearing from you within the 20-working day statutory time period.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 I seek the following information on advertising spending:

1. The Public Health Agency’s total campaign advertising spend during the financial year 2020/2021.

2. The Public Health Agency’s total campaign media spend, broken down by media channel. I would like this information for the financial year 2020/2021.

3. If it is possible to provide, the Public Health Agency’s total campaign spend through each of the following: Google, Facebook, Twitter. I would like this information for the two most recent financial years i.e. 2019/2020 and 2020/2021.

4. Information on the Public Health Agency’s most expensive advertising campaign in the financial year 2020/2021. For this campaign I would like to know:

The name of the campaign
The advertising platform(s) used for the campaign e.g TV, radio, press etc.
The total amount of money spent on the campaign.

I would prefer to receive this information electronically as a data set, eg. in Excel, not as a PDF.

Yours sincerely,
John Hughman
