Healthwatch Staffordshire is a service operated by Support Staffordshire. We are only subject to Freedom of Information requests to the extent they relate to our Healthwatch service. As such, our answers relate only to the Healthwatch team, not our wider organisation.

a) The number of roles in your association (expressed in numbers of FTE), that are mainly or exclusively focussed on issues of equality, diversity, or inclusivity. For example, this could include (amongst other guises) “EDI officers” or “diversity and inclusion project managers” but would not include general HR managers.

Issues of Equality, diversity or inclusivity are many and wide ranging. It could be said that all Healthwatch staff are focussed on these issues, as their roles are concerned with engaging in public feedback and for all of them this will regularly relate to scenarios where residents feel they have received unfair or unequal treatment (FTE = 4.85). However, your example appears to be more tightly focused on staff posts which have these terms in their job title. We have no Healthwatch staff with these terms in their job title.

b) Either a) the pay band of each of these roles, or b) the combined total salaries for these roles. Whichever measure is more in accordance with your data preferences.

Not applicable. If we did have such roles we would not disclose salary information which would be readily attributable to individuals.

c) In the past 12 months the number of staff days across your organisation which have been committed to attending equality training programmes, whether internally run or with external consultants. (staff days = duration of the training programme multiplied by the number of staff in attendance for the course). If unable to provide please mark as N/A in your return.
