Flights
Dear Merseyside Police,
I was wondering if you tell me how much the force spent on flights and accommodation for officers at the rank of Chief Superintendent and above for police work related business only in each of past 3 financial years to date; If any officer during this period ever requested an upgrade in hotel accommodation and or class of flight; If so the reason for the request; The number of requests received per year; The number of these requests per year that were approved, refused or pending; The name and rank of officer that decides if an upgrade request is to be approved or refused. Also could you provide a list of allowances officers can claim for when abroad on police business providing they provide a vouched receipt eg; Telephone Allowance, transport costs, food costs etc
Yours faithfully,
Emma Smith
