Fleetlist, Vehicle Workings, GDPR Photography Questions
Hello there,
Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 I hereby request the following;
1. A current fleet (including allocations where applicable) list for East Coast Buses, Edinburgh Bus Tours, Lothian Buses, Lothian Coaches, Lothian Country Buses. This should also show the details for the forthcoming/in delivery batch of triaxle buses.
2. A list showing which service is done by which depot (where more than one exists) for each of the above, as well as the number of vehicles required for each service, and the type formally allocated to each service.
3. Do you have a copy of the final edition (PDF or scanned copy fine) of the final edition of 10 Questions About Buses, a publication done many years ago (the 10 is from memory and might not be an exact number).
4. In relation to the previous request where Working Timetable was refused, I understand there may be concerns. Could I please have a full journey-by-journey timetable for Services 22/N22 and 26/N26/X26 please (one showing the exact times of each bus, as opposed to “every x minutes”?
5. In relation to a change of policy regarding bus enthusiasts not being allowed to take photos inside buses at terminal points through GDPR, it would be appreciated if you could supply any background papers/emails/memos regarding this decision, as well an explanation as to why the GDPR / new policy is only being implemented at terminal points i.e. does the company not like criticism, has someone been overly critical etc.? This should ideally answer the point – why is GDPR being used to justify this but at terminal only – what is the difference whether the bus is in motion? I get the point about bus drivers seat (after someone drove off a bus unauthorised several times elsewhere) and I can understand why changing the display at terminal points might well conflict with Real Time Passenger Information, (and speaking as a person who did policies and researched GDPR at Here To There Publishing Ltd), I genuinely do not understand the difference whether the bus is stationary or not?
Yours faithfully,
Suzy Scott

Dear Lothian Buses Limited,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Lothian Buses Limited's handling of my FOI request 'Fleetlist, Vehicle Workings, GDPR Photography Questions'.
==========================
Dear Clare,
Thank you for your email of 15th February 2019 – apologies for the delay in coming back to you.
Re 1-4 – information received in full, those parts of the request are now complete.
Re 5 – I wish to appeal / request an internal review of the information you supplied. You state “There is no recorded information that answers your questions”. However, this must be inaccurate as a copy of the Staff Notice is already in the public domain. Your reply made mention of ensuring buses leave on time – this message is new, as it wasn’t in the initial staff notice. As this has been widely ridiculed by enthusiast and local press alike, I look for more information – emails discussions, minutes etc. – there must be something?
Thank you
