Dear Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council,

Do you use a computer based system at the council to manage your fleet management?
If you do can you please tell me what system / provider you are currently using, is it a in house system or bought?
If not, how do you manage them, is it paper based, or spreadsheet based?
If bought what is the term of the contract you took out with the provider?
What are the total yearly costs for using said system?
If you have a system in place how many staff administer the system?

Management Systems’ (our reference 04405); Please find our response below:

 

Do you use a computer based system at the council to manage your fleet
management?                    We do not have a system in place.

If you do can you please tell me what system / provider you are currently
using, is it a in house system or bought?                  We do not have
a system in place.

If not, how do you manage them, is it paper based, or spreadsheet based?
              We have a spreadsheet for the service schedule and an Access
database to record vehicle specifications such as tyre sizes/chassis
numbers etc.

If bought what is the term of the contract you took out with the provider?
         We do not have a system in place.

What are the total yearly costs for using said system?
                                                    We do not have a
system in place.

If you have a system in place how many staff administer the
system?                         We do not have a system in place.
