I have considered your request and having liaised with the relevant

We have considered your request and in accordance with Section 17 of the
Freedom of Information Act this letter acts  in part as a refusal notice.

We also apply Section 38 Health and Safety as providing this information
poses a risk on security grounds and would be very useful to external
‘threat actors’.

In the circumstances, we do not think that it is in the public interest to
disclose all the information requested.

Subject: Freedom of Information request - Fleet List

Dear Vale of Glamorgan Council,

The Local Authority is requested to provide a list of motor vehicles
operated by the council (owned or leased) currently licensed with the
Driver & Vehicle Licensing Authority (“the DVLA”). Please include the
following details.

1.      Registration Mark of each motor vehicle;
2.      Fleet number allocated (if any);
3.      Chassis Make and Model;
4.      Type of Body fitted;
5.      Date new or date of acquisition.

File attachments using Excel, Word, PDF or plain text are acceptable
