Dear Mr Alexander,

Please accept our apologies for the late response to your information
request of 3 December 2010, made under the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA). Aberdeen City Council (ACC) has completed
the necessary search for the information requested.

Can you please supply me with a list of all vehicles owned or operated
by Aberdeen City Council. This should include vehicles which are leased
from leasing companies, those owned outright and those which are on
order but have not yet been delivered to the Council.

Details required are:
- Make & Model (Description)
- Vehicle Registration Number (exempt under S.35 Law Enforcement)
- Vehicle Type (eg refuse vehicle, panel van, road sweeper)
(Description)
- Fleet Number (Fleet No.)
- Service which uses vehicle (Service located at the Last Known
Location)
- Location at which vehicle is normally based (Last Known
Location)
- Whether the vehicle is owned or leased (All owned by ACC)

Please note that we are unable to provide you with information on
Vehicle Registration Numbers as it is exempt from disclosure. In
order to comply with its obligations under the terms of section 16 of
the FOISA the Council must issue official refusal notices in relation to
any requests for which it is claiming an exemption under the FOISA. I
therefore attach a refusal notice which specifically refuses your
request under the terms of Section 35 - law Enforcement of the Freedom
of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
