FIU HMRC Dialogue

Mae'r ymateb i'r cais hwn yn hwyr iawn. Yn ôl y gyfraith, ym mhob amgylchiad, dylai Cyllid a Thollau Ei Mawrhydi fod wedi ymateb erbyn hyn. (manylion). Gallwch gwyno drwy yn gofyn am adolygiad mewnol.

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

With reference to the Child Maintenance Service’s internal policies and guidance which tells their Financial Investigation Unit (FIU) staff to tell parents NOT to contact HMRC in relation to their investigations, please could you provide all information, policies and guidance relating to dialogue between the CMS’ FIU and HMRC. In particular, where there is evidence of tax evasion, or tax avoidance, is it the FIU’s responsibility to report that to HMRC rather than the receiving parent?

Yours faithfully,

Mr McGregor

Thank you for your communication of 3rd March which has been passed to
HMRC's Freedom of Information Team.

We have allocated the above reference which you should quote if you need
