Fires at Forestry Commission sites

The request was successful.

Dear Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service,

Could you please tell me how many calls to fires were attended each year, for the past five years, for the following Forestry Commission sites:

- Cowleaze Wood (Christmas Common Road, Iewknor OX49 5HL)

Can I also ask for the total number of hours spent at fires for each year of the past five years too please?

I am also aware that sometimes incidents are reported vaguely such as "the woods off of London Road" without the full address. Please could you do your best to capture these incidents too when they are on Forestry Commission land. Could you also include any other Forestry Commission sites that you cover that I may have missed please.

Yours faithfully,

D. Schofield

Dear Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service,

In addition to my FOI request 'Fires at Forestry Commission sites' can I also add Bernwood Forest and Chartersfield Wood please?

Dear OFRS FOI,

Thank you for your response to my enquiry, 'Fires at Forestry Commission sites'.May I clarify if the total times you provided are incident time or appliance time? For example, if two appliances were called to the same incident, the times for both appliances spent on scene were combined to show overall time spent by resources.

If only total incident times were provided , would you be able to provide appliance time for each incident too please?

Yours sincerely,

D. Schofield

OFRS FOI, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm that the total incident times are supplied (e.g. start - finish time of incident).

It is possible to provide individual appliance times for each incident too, however, if you would like this information, please submit a new FOI request.

Kind regards,

Group Manager Paul Bremble
