I write to acknowledge your email dated 06.05.2020 requesting information
regarding fire safety audits.

 

Your request has been assigned reference number 2020T12; please can you
quote this in any contact with us about this matter.

 

The statutory timescale to respond to requests processed under the terms
of the Freedom of Information Act (FoIA) 2000 is 20 working days however,
there may be a delay due to the current COVID-19 situation.  We will keep
you updated regarding the progress of your request at the earliest
opportunity. The Information Commissioner recognises that longer time may
be needed as we have to prioritise other work to keep services running

concerning fire safety audits conducted by Avon Fire & Rescue Service.

 

Your request for information has been dealt with under the terms of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FoIA) and I can confirm that Avon Fire &
Rescue Service holds some of the information falling within the
description specified within your request.

 

Please note that information for 2017/18 and 2018/19 is already published

FIRE STATISTICS TABLE 1202: Fire Safety Audits carried out by Fire and
Rescue Services, by fire and rescue authority.  There is a drop down
to select the financial year and data is up to 2018/19.  The data is
broken down per FRS.

- This will provide a breakdown on premises type for fire safety
audits. You will need to select the drop down for ‘Avon’. There is a
drop down to select the financial year and data is up to  2018/19

 

As this information is already available to you, we are not obliged to
provide it again under Section 21 of the FoIA – Information available to
the applicant by other means.  This is an absolute exemption and we are
not required to apply a Public Interest Test (PIT). 

 

This email therefore acts as a partial refusal notice under Section 17 of
