Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from you for the time period 2007 to 2017:

1) How many fire checks have been undertaken at schools in the area covered by your fire department for each of the years mentioned?

2) For each year, I would ask for the number of enforcement notices issued to schools who failed the fire checks undertaken.

Please provide the information in the form an Excel Documents

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.

If you can identify any ways that my request could be refined I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance.

Freedom of Information request, please find below our response to the
information that you requested.

 

Query:

 

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request
the following information from you for the time period 2007 to 2017:

 

1) How many fire checks have been undertaken at schools in the area
covered by your fire department for each of the years mentioned?

 

2) For each year, I would ask for the number of enforcement notices issued
to schools who failed the fire checks undertaken.

 

Response:

 

Please see attached the Excel document called ‘FOI 18 93 Fire safety
visits to schools’.

Please note, Dorset Fire and Rescue Service and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue
Service combined to form Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service on 1
April 2016. Due to a number of system changes, the information relating to
Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service for the financial year 2009-10 is not
held.

 

I trust this answers your queries, however, if you are unhappy with the
service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a
