Dear Ms. Fiorino,
Thank you for your helpful response to my recent request. You state that some premises were issued with two enforcement types. Please could you clarify the instances where two enforcement actions were applied to the same building?
Yours sincerely,
Mark Wilding

Dear Enquirer,
Your request for information has been processed under the Freedom of

The first duty of the Fire and rescue Service in responding to your
request is to inform you whether or not the Service holds the information
you have requested.
I can confirm that Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service does hold the
information.
In response to your enquiry below, to clarify the information previously
provided to you in relation to FOI 1044 I can confirm that there were 3
premises where there were 2 enforcement actions:
FP001343 The Zenith Building 26 Colton Street Leicester LE1
1QA Enforcement Notice & Interim Measures 13/07/17
FP900562 Block C Merlin Heights 65 Bath Lane Leicester LE3 5AU
Enforcement Notice & Interim Measures 27/07/17
FP900578 Block A Merlin Heights 95 Bath Lane Leicester LE3
5AU Enforcement Notice & Interim Measures
05/07/17
Two enforcement outcomes were needed because Interim Measures is an action
that is issued by the fire service to prevent a higher level of
enforcement – a Prohibition Notice. This means the premises has to take
immediate action/provide measures to reduce the danger to acceptable
levels to prevent the prohibition. An Enforcement Notice is then issued so
that the premises can address factors where the premises is not compliant
with the Fire Safety Order. This notice provides timescales to which the
premises needs to address the issues by. This is a legal notice.

request is made available under the Open Government Licence:
