Dear Brent Council -Spatial Planning,

Please may I remind you that as a public authority, the council is bound by the obligations set out in the Freedom of Information Act 2000, any person making a request for information to a public authority is entitled-

a) To be informed in writing by the public authority whether it holds information of the description specified in the request, and
b) If that is the case, to have that information communicated to him.

In relation to the previous disclosed information, in some boxes it is clear when information is unavailable, but I feel that information is being withheld in sections that are blacked out or obscured.
As a result, I am requesting the full information to be provided without any redactions and within a reasonable time frame as you can appreciate, I had requested this information over 20 days ago. If however for some reason this information is withheld I will request an internal review to resolve this matter.

I look forward to hearing from you promptly,

Yours sincerely,

C Gordon

Dear C Gordon,

Apologies for the delayed response. In response to your query about the black filled squares in the tables sent as attachments to your 7 FOI requests:

IRC – 03193 - W0Q8Q6
IRC – 03194 – P3N9B9
IRC – 03195 – k3T6Q0
IRC – 03196 – S457M9
IRC – 03197 – V2L1D3
IRC – 03198 – G5X9M2
IRC – 03202 – Q0F6G7

I can confirm that the black squares were not redactions, they were to indicate 'N/A' or £0.00 where relevant. The tables were composed in such a way to make them easier to read. We will in the future state 'N/A' or £0.00 to ensure there is not confusion.

Kind regards,

Martin

Dear Holley, Martin

Thank you for your response. Following this clarification, please can you specify which figures are non-applicable and why? Also please can you clarify which ones are £0.00?

Yours sincerely,

C Gordon

Holley, Martin, Brent Borough Council

Dear C Gordon,

The black boxes indicate as follows:

In the columns under 'Allocated, 'Spend' or 'Unspent' it indicates there was no allocation, spend and/or unspent amount, please read these as £0.00; and
In the columns under 'Date of Allocation', it indicates the money has not been allocated.

The final row is totals. The black boxes are under 'Date Received', 'Date of Allocation' and Date of Spend' as these cannot have totals so are intentionally left blank.

I hope this answers your query.

Kind regards,

Martin
