I am writing to request information concerning deaths involving people jumping from or otherwise exiting the Humber Bridge over the barriers into the estuary below.
For the year to 31 December 2020, and for each of the previous 6 years, please confirm the number of people who:
1. Have died.
2. Have died after entering the bridge:
a. On foot
c. In a motorised vehicle
d. By means unknown to the Board
3. Have died following an incident:
a. Between 7.00pm and 7.00am
b. Between 7.00am and 7.00pm
For question 3, I am happy for you to respond to that question substituting daytime and night- time, or hours of daylight and darkness, if that is how your records are kept.
