Dear Health and Safety Executive,

I understand from this webpage (https://data.gov.uk/dataset/construction...) that you hold a database containing details of all F10 notifications. I would like to a copy of this dataset , and think the publication of it on a monthly basis would add value to the UK construction industry more widely.

Yours faithfully,

Dominic Humphrey

Dear Mr Humphrey

Freedom of Information Request Reference No: 201709302

Thank you for your request for:

o A copy of the F10 Notification Database

The F10 Database holds thousands of current and completed notifications of
construction projects.  These records contain personal information which
is protected under the Data Protection Act 1998 and to disclose personal
data could constitute a breach of the first principle of the FOI Act.
Section 40 (Personal Information) of the Act applies , this section is an
absolute exemption and is not subject to the public interest test.

To complete your request we would need to examine and redact each record
manually.  This would be an enormous and costly task; would definitely
exceed the £600 limit that the Government has set for dealing with Freedom
of Information requests and would be a disproportionate diversion of HSE’s
resources.

Therefore, for reasons stated above, we are not able to complete your
request on this occasion.

Yours sincerely
