Dear Highways England Company Limited,

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am formally requesting the report carried out by EY (formerly Ernst & Young) on pay in Highways England’s Senior Management structure, as alluded to in the following written Parliamentary question and answer ;

Highways England: Pay

House of Commons - Written Answers - Department for Transport

Answered on: Friday 30 November 2018
Transport
Andy McDonald: To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 21 November 2018 to Question 191428 on Highways England: Pay, if he will publish the review by EY into executive pay in Highways England. [194791]
Jesse Norman:
The review will inform pay policy development by Government and the company. There are no plans to publish the EY review into remuneration arrangements across Highways England.

It is noted that Mr Norman stated there were ‘no plans to publish the EY review’, not that it would not be provided if requested.

Yours faithfully,

T Greyman
