Dear Bristol City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Bristol City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Evidence that Bristol's universities supported Mayor Marvin Rees's decision to cancel the arena on Arena Island'.

This has been unduly delayed.

Given that Marvin Rees, Mayor of Bristol, clearly stated that the universities in Bristol supported his decision to cancel the arena on Arena Island at Temple Meads, I would have thought the supporting evidence should be easily accessible.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...

Yours faithfully,

S Thomas

Dear Bristol City Council,

Reference CRN00197185

In my request I asked for information confirming that the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England supported Marvin Rees decision to cancel the arena on Arena Island. The statement you have shown me does not indicate the University of Bristol support for that decision but rather that they wanted a decision to be made.

Please can you send me specific documents/evidence in which the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England supported his decision to cancel the arena on arena Island, as claimed by the Mayor. If there is no specific evidence, please can you confirm that there is no evidence.

Yours faithfully,

S Thomas
