Dear Cabinet Office,

CABINET OFFICE REFERENCE: FOI316645

I have not received the requested information during the statutory period.

I am not at this point requesting an internal review as I have no reason to suppose the response is not being prepared, but please let me know if this is the case, and if so why it is taking longer than the Act stipulates.

Yours faithfully,

H Spall

Dear Cabinet Office,

CABINET OFFICE REFERENCE: FOI316645

My FOI request has not been promptly responded to as is normally required by law. If you intend to respond within the next few days please let me know as I am considering requesting an internal review but would prefer not to do this if the response is on its way.

Yours faithfully,

H Spall

Dear Cabinet Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

CABINET OFFICE REFERENCE: FOI316645

I am writing to request an internal review of the Cabinet Office's handling of my FOI request 'Events held at 11 Downing Street' under Part VI of the Secretary of State's Section 45 Code of Practice. The Cabinet Office should normally have responded promptly and by 2 July 2012 (20 working days after the request was made).

If there are exceptional circumstances which prevent the Cabinet office from responding promptly the ICO requires that I be sent a Refusal Notice (under section 17 of the Act) within the same timeframe, specifying the exemption and why it applies. This has not been done, so I can only assume no exemption applies in this case.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ev...

You will note that though the time for response had passed I asked if there is a genuine reason for delay which would persuade me not to request an internal review, as I view this action to be a serious matter. That has not received any response or acknowledgement.

Yours faithfully,

H Spall
