Further to our emails of 31 October and 2 December 2019 requesting
additional information from you to enable us to process your request for
information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, I am
writing to advise you that we still do not appear to have received this
clarification to date.
Under section 1(3) of FOISA, if we ask you to provide further detail in
order for us to identify and locate the information you are looking for,
then we are not obliged to process your request further until you have
provided us with the clarification we require.
As you have not responded to my request for clarification of 31 October
2019 and a time period of more than 40 working days has now elapsed, we
will now consider this request closed. You may, however, wish to submit a
new request and if you do so please provide us with the requisite detail
we require to enable us to identify and locate the information you seek
and respond in accordance with FOISA.
Follow-up procedural guidance
If you are not satisfied with the way the University has dealt with your
request for information, you have a right under FOISA to request a review
of this decision. If you wish to exercise this right, you must write to
the University to request a review within forty working days of receipt of
this decision. Your request for a review must be in writing and you must
specify your name and address for correspondence. You must also identify
the decision that you wish to have reviewed.
