Thank you for your request for information. 

 

Bromsgrove District Council are providing a neither confirms nor denies
response on the basis that to confirm or deny puts the council at risk and
engages Section 43(2), ‘commercial interest’ of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000.

 

The following points were considered under the public interest test:

 

Confirming or denying whether information is held on malicious attacks,
could aid malicious parties, so to provide information or confirmation of
information being held might facilitate the possibility of an attack.

 

In all circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the
exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

 

If you are dissatisfied with the way your request has been handled, you

with your request, such as the request, our acknowledgement, consultation
with the department involved, and our subsequent response to you is
retained for 2 years.

 

The council will not disclose your personal information to external
entities. We will also take steps to limit the amount of personal
information about you, is disclosed as part of any consultation process
regarding your request.

 

If you do not provide the appropriate details required under the
legislation, the information cannot be provided.  Other rights are not

unless we have a duty to do so under law. This data will not be
