2. HR? – HR servies are provided to DS by the Scottish
Government
3. Payroll? – Payroll services are provided to DS by the
Scottish Government
4. Project? – JIIRA/Confluence MS Project
5. CRM? – DS does not use any CRM tooling
6. Manufacturing? – Not applicable
7. Sourcing? – Not applicable
8. Invoice Scanning Tool? – Not applicable
9. Are you using Config Snapshot? - No
10. What BI Tool are you using? – SAP Business Intelligence
11. What versions of the above Applications are you running? –
Version numbers omitted as they are handled as UK RESTRICTED information
and not made public
12. When was your last Application upgrade? – The last major
upgrade for SAP BI was performed between April 2015 and March 2016. The
last major version change for EBS was around 2011 with the last point
released upgrade around 2015
13. Are you planning another upgrade in the next 12-18 months?
- No
14. Do you have an Oracle support partner for applications? If
so who? – Yes. BT backed with a standard Oracle support contract
15. Do you have an SAP support partner for applications? If so
who? – No. In-house support team
16. What kind of support is included in the contract/s
(functional/technical/etc.?) – BT manage our bespoke application. Oracle
provide software updates and off-site support services
17. What is the value of the SAP application support contract
and when does it end? – None in place
18. What is the value of the Oracle application support
contract and when does it end? - £6,327.69 per annum. The support
contract expires on 31 March 2019
19. When does the SAP and/or Oracle contracts expire? – see

are you running? – Yes. Version numbers omitted as they are handled as UK
RESTRICTED information and not made public

BO/BI, HP OpenView, Bespoke and Oracle Middleware: BPM, EBS, OSB, OID

who? – Yes. BR backed with a standard Oracle support contract

Oracle and when does it expire? – Oracle middleware licenses are procured
via ULA agreement between Oracle and the Scottish Government. DS have no
visibility of the overall costs.

Hosted in UK datacentres. Either at DS/SG sites or main service supplier
sites
29. If not, how many in-house DBAs do you have? – DBAs
provided as part of a BT shared service team. Currently the equivalent of
3 FTEs

opportunities? – As per Question 29

Oracle and/or SAP estate? – BT is primarily. DS/SG for core Oracle
databases

licenses costs is £342.649.85 these are perpetual licenses
