Equality Objective 2017 onwards: clarity requested

The request was partially successful.

Dear Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust,

In the Trust's Equality Diversity and Inclusion Framework 2017-2020 document, there has a been a recent insertion to state that following is now an equality objective:

"Ensure our services are accessible to all and support a diverse workforce that is capable of understanding the needs and culture of its service users and staff"

In relation to this objective, I would be grateful if you could provide specific information relating to work that aims to make the Trust's services accessible to all.

Can you please explain what you mean by ensuring your "services are accessible to all"?
Can you please advise how you are measuring against this part of the objective (i.e. ensuring services are accessible to all)?
Can you please advise what activities have taken place since this objective was set that you believe will help towards meeting this part of the objective (i.e. ensuring services are accessible to all)?

Yours faithfully,

Tony Sal
