Equality and diversity

The request was successful.

Dear Derbyshire County Council,
Please can you provide me with the most upto date version of the equality and diversity policy as the policy I have found is 2011 which is therefore out of date according to Government Care Acts. I have read all your employment policies and highlighted the necessary information including making adjustments and not to discriminate.
Kind regards

Dear Access2info (Corporate Resources),

To be included in this I would like how you achieve your two ticks awards for disability employer. I have the workforce strategy however this information does not appear to be within the document. May I suggest that if this was unpicked by a judgement the County council would not be gaining this award this year. Legally your public sector equality duty would be in question.

Yours sincerely,

Rachel Ogilby

Dear Access 2 Info (Corporate Resources),

Thanks Tracey no I did not know about the change of award, as everything I have read had the 2 ticks on still. Will read the policy from 2011 in finer detail then as current. Time has moved on. I will look into the scheme and discuss with the relevant people only.

Yours sincerely,

Rachel Ogilby
