England deaths with exact COVID-19 injection dates.
Dear Office for National Statistics,
Your analysis at https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationa... is fundamentally flawed because your dataset (https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationa...) uses the population denominator from the same week in which the death occurred.
This really naive omission significantly overstates unvaccinated mortality rate and understatres vaccinated mortality rate.
Taking the relevant population from when the infection was likely to have occurred, 2 to 4 weeks prior, would be a significant improvement in terms of representation but will also be subject to error as it may now count as vaccinated deaths those that were not vaccinated at the time they were infected.
In order to perform a proper analysis, please provide the same data but include the exact dates of dose 1 and dose 2 together with the date of death instead of your bogus determination of vaccinated status.
Yours faithfully,
Joel Smalley
