England deaths by vaccination status.
Dear UK Statistics Authority,
The ONS has made significant errors in its analysis of deaths by vaccination status and the dataset - https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationa....
Given the seriousness of the error and the importance of the data, please release the underlying raw data on a weekly basis going forward for public consumption.
Also, please provide the data from 8th Dec 2020, not 8th Jan 2021. This is also a very serious omission and I cannot think of a reasonable explanation that would excuse it.
Yours faithfully,
Joel Smalley

Dear UK Statistics Authority,
Thank you for your reply regarding my straightforward and transparent request under the Freedom of Information Act for the data underlying the report published at https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationa...
Unfortunately, I believe your rejection of the request falls short of the requirements outlined in the Act. Section 39 rejections do not in any way apply to the data request which was merely for an extension of the data to the start date for vaccination, as should have been implemented in the data publication and for more transparent, weekly reporting of the same data going forwards.
For the purposes of clarity and to assist in any further correspondence I will state my request more explicitly:
(1) Please supply the same data set with weekly breakdown, which should be applied going forward and contemporaneously.
(2) Please supply a named declaration that the "unvaccinated" cohort does not include any people who have ever received a single dose of any covid 19 vaccine at any time.
(3) Please supply the underlying individualised data for Table 3 of this report. This should include all registration, mortality and vaccination events at a minimum: Date of vaccination, dose number of vaccine, vaccine brand if known, date of death (if died). This data is required to independently corroborate the report. There is no justification under section 39 not to provide this data as I am not requesting any directly or indirectly identifiable data. The data being requested is not possible to be used for identification purposes any more than other data released by PHE and UKHSA including covid-19 related deaths where there are small numbers of (or individual) deaths in specific age groups or demographics.
If you wish to decline any of the 3 parts of this request please provide a declaration of which part you are declining and whether you are providing the refusal as an independent officer or under advisement from another authorised officer.
If necessary, you can treat this follow up as a request for internal review if the same officer is not in a position to respond.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Joel Smalley
