Dear Dan Wilson Craw,

I am writing in response to your request 08/02/2022. This has been dealt
with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The Council’s response to your specific questions is set out below:

Please provide the following information for the financial year 2020-21:

1. How many service requests did the council receive that related to
conditions in private rented homes?

849

2. How many inspections of private rented homes did the council carry out
a) in response to service requests and b) as part of licensing
enforcement?

We do not separately record which properties are visited as we operate a
triage system. We would have to look at each individual record, 849 in
total, at an average of ten minutes per individual electronic file. See
attached s12 refusal notice.

3. In how many private rented homes did the council find Category 1
Hazards during inspections?

attached s12 refusal notice.

4. How many a) Improvement Notices b) Prohibition Orders and c) Emergency
Remedial Action Notices did the council issue in relation to private

Allegations of offences under the PFEA 1977 are not separately recorded

the examination of each individual file which would take approximately ten
minutes per file and the files number in the hundreds for tenancy
relations. See attached s12 refusal notice.

9. How many enforcement notices did the council serve relating to Minimum
Energy Efficiency Standards?

0

10. How many prosecutions did the council pursue for offences relating to
