3. The number of deficiency and/or enforcement notices served to the owners of these buildings specifically relating to the identification of vulnerable and disabled residents, and planning for their escape (Articles 14(2)(b) & 15 (1)(b)), since the 30th October 2019 to the date of this FOI

Your request for information has now been considered and I am pleased to
provide you with the following information.

 

 

1. The number of low, medium and high-rise residential buildings in your
area (or your current/best estimate of them) covered by the Regulatory
Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 – The total number is 1989, however we
have no high rise premises and there is no exact definition for medium
rise premises but these premises will almost all be under 4 storeys.

 

2. The total number of deficiency and/or enforcement notices served to the
owners of these buildings relating to means of escape (Articles 14(2)(b) &
15 (1)(b)), since the 30th October 2019 to the date of this FOI – For
these specific Articles there are 3 Enforcement notices which have been
issued within the relevant timescale.

 

3. The number of deficiency and/or enforcement notices served to the
owners of these buildings specifically relating to the identification of
vulnerable and disabled residents, and planning for their escape (Articles
14(2)(b) & 15 (1)(b)), since the 30th October 2019 to the date of this
FOI. - For these specific Articles there is only 1 Enforcement notice been
issued within the relevant timescale. For these specific Articles there
are 3 Enforcement notices which have been issued within the relevant
timescale. As these are all Care Homes they would be classed as vulnerable
residents. Deficiency letters do not stipulate the exact article
subsection as Enforcement Notices do so it is not possible to give this
detail.

 

3. Copies of the notices referred to in (3) – Please refer to the National
