Enforcement Notice on land but still have time to appeal the planning application

We're waiting for daren richards to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Planning Inspectorate,
we have owned a field for 28 years and we were made homeless last year so we put a bus on the land and converted it to a motor home , we were told it could not stay so we put in for planning and we were refused and were told we had 6 months to appeal, but 14 days later the council put an enforcement notice on the land but we still have until september to appeal, we do find it unfair that the field next door that is also agricultural got planning to build 6 dwellings and the farm a half a mile away got planning for 120 dwellings but they wont give us planning to stay on the field because they say its out of the planning area and we would need a car to go to the shops but the other fields that have planning are also out side the planning area but its fine to give them planning seems like this is discrimination and very unfair

Yours faithfully,

daren richards

Dear Mr Richards

Thank you for your e-mail.

Whilst I note what you say, it does not appear to me that you are actually
requesting some information that we hold. Please let me know if you feel I
have misunderstood.

Notwithstanding this, I must explain that it would not be appropriate for
me to make any comments on the merits of the Council’s decisions. We can
only consider the arguments in support of a planning proposal once an
appeal is made.

Notwithstanding this, I should perhaps point out that an appeal against an
enforcement notice must be received by us before the effective date of the
notice. The effective date will be on the notice itself; see paragraph 1.8
of the attached procedural guide for enforcement appeals. I have also
attached our procedure guide for planning appeals.

I hope this is helpful.

Yours sincerely

Bob Palmer
