Endeavour Partnership payment in advance of
Dear Teesside International Airport Limited,
On 24th March 2021, NE Times Magazine ran the story that “The Endeavour Partnership backs Teesside International Airport revamp with five-figure investment”.
On 30th May 2021, the Tees Valley Combined Authority went out for tender for its 4 year legal framework worth up to £70m. The Endeavour Partnership were chosen in a meeting dated 30 June 2021.
Since that date the airport and the Combined Authority have refused to provide details of the what arrangement between Endeavour Partnership and the airport actually involves. This is on the grounds the airport is considered separate to the Combined Authority.
On 13th May 2022, the Combined Authority revealed staff from the airport were part of the group that “consolidated” the tender scores.
Given this:
1. Please provide details of the arrangement with the Endeavour Partnership.
2. Please name the person(s) from the airport involved in the scoring.
3. Provide their register of interests.
4. Provide any emails you have which discuss the payment from Endeavour Partnership in the context of the tender process from or to the person involved in the scoring between 1 February 2021 and 1 August 2021.
Yours faithfully,
Johan Briggs
