Grant Hamilton Smith,

CDF ceased to be a public body on 31st March 2011. CDF is an independent charity, no. 1139975 and CDF’s governance status is clearly stated in its publicly available annual report and audited accounts.

Unfortunately, this status information has still not been updated by the government department responsible, resulting in CDF incorrectly remaining listed on the Schedule of organisations responsible for responding to FOI requests. What Do They Know depends upon this list for its web-site FOI requests. We have communicated the situation twice to What Do They Know and we expect them to remove CDF from their website.

Whilst CDF administers publicly funded contracts, in this case grant programmes, any FOI requests should be directed to the government department responsible for the contract. Details of the responsible department can be found on CDF’s website.

The Community First programme to which the listed FOI requests relate, ceased on 31st March 2015 and there are no outstanding matters relating to these requests.
