This is a Council that does record its information to hide the discrimination of its staff. What are the auditors doing about this. We have seen all the headlines, so how is Council holding its management to account on the spending of public money.

Gadawodd Slough Witch anodiad ()

They should respond as far as it is possible to do so. How many ET claims must they have that they can't respond? Their refusal gives the impression they might be trying to conceal evidence of discrimination.

I think the ICO would be very interested in this one...

Dear Slough Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

It seems likely that the authority has deliberately withheld information (and in doing so has breached the DPA) in order to conceal discrimination in the way it treats certain staff.

If this were not the case they would surely be in their interests to answer this FOI request honestly and i full.

As there is no indication they have responded to the review I request, I hope Mr Khan has complained to the ICO. It strikes me that a full audit of the authority's handling of FOIs (and discriminatory practices) needs to be undertaken.

Gadawodd Slough Swan anodiad ()

Your Majesty, my Queen of the Night and Dear Mr Khan,

Might one question why the authority failed to abide by the Freedom of Information Act, section 16, that Mr Janik keeps mentioning? Something to do with being helpful to enquirers like Mr Khan.

Is there a comprehension problem at the authority or is this their usual sort of answer? Mr Owl says they are hiding something but neither of us know what that is. Do you have any insight?

Please do come and visit our family. I know all our neighbours will be truly delighted to meet a kind witch who casts spells on bad humans.

Odette.

Gadawodd Slough Witch anodiad ()

Dear Odette and other good truth seekers

I fear the true answer would be too embarrassing for Rothbart to reveal. It is not a friend of good people and abuses its powers to wreck revenge on anyone who speaks the truth about their foul ways.

The great arbitrator in the land known as Reading has heard of their wicked ways many times and endeavours to administer justice, but the evil one is a formidable foe.

Rothbart is not invincible, however.

The brave and courageous one known as Mr Khan can seek justice from the powerful one known as the Information Commissioner. She has vindicated other seekers of truth and will do so again.

Rothbart is afraid of the Information Commissioner's powers, especially her power to have a good nose-around in Rothbart's dirty undies basket and other places where it keeps its rancid secrets. Good people just have to trust her...

Your Majesty, my Queen of the Night,

It was good to see you and your family the other evening at Cheq Lac. Everyone was delighted to meet the most kindest witch in our part of the country. I hope everyone arrived home safety; your husband's broomstick had difficulty starting but once it did, we were amazed to see it outpacing your brand-new model.

Robin from the river told us strange tales of hundreds of discarded records floating on the water. Robin said the local administration recently had some sort of panic removal of records just in case those people with the bright flashing lights pop-in. None of us know what goes on there. Sam Starling thinks whatever it is, it is serious, involves some major well-known figures. Sam mentioned Crunchie Biscuit and someone called Wally. He keeps humming a song about the Biscuit breaking-up. Do you know what it is about?

Maggie Magpie read your note and commented sensitive items are kept off-site in the den of a famous Biscuit. Food again. Why doesn't anyone mention Cake for a change?

I'm baffled. First we have food, I mean biscuits, then along comes a Wally and now some empty container is linked to a biscuit. Very mysterious. I'm sure someone must know what all this means.

Odette.

Dearest Odette

I must admit I too am fond of a nice slice of cake. I once liked a biscuit or two with my coffee, but I find they leave a bitter taste nowadays.

My familiars tell me it is a common problem. Biscuit has become most unpopular, but cake is nowhere to be seen.

The answer to the problem might lie with the scattered papers they do not want us to see...

I hope to see you on my nocturnal excursions.

Good wishes to you and yours.
