Gwrthodwyd y cais gan Sussex Police.

Dear Sussex Police,

I am aware that you have commenced employment of Aidan Barlow. The rule around contact with such an individual of the press are strict and prohibit such relationships even informally beyond the reporting of factual and relevant information.

I would like to establish,

For how long have the police had this relationship with this journalist prior to offering him employment.

Why was it considered appropriate to employ someone from the media who had reported on crime for many years in additional to stories about the organisation.

Was it not seen as a form of corruption to offer money to someone who had a duty to report facts in the public interest, many of which would have been against the organisational interests of Sussex police.

Yours faithfully,

Tommy
